Deutsche Singles hatten in den 50s manchmal Bildhüllen, manchmal auch nicht. In unserer Liste sehen Sie auf jeden Fall, wenn eine Single KEINE Bildhülle hat. Dann ist sie nämlich mit 'ns' oder 'flc' bezeichnet!
'ns' = neutral sleeve (neutrale, einfarbige, z.B. weisse oder braune Standardhülle) - 'flc' oder FLC = Firmen-Standardhülle mit Firmenaufdruck, sog. "Firmen-Lochcover" (company standard sleeve) - KLC = Künstler-Lochcover (manchmal wurde von einem Künstler ein standardisiertes Lochcover mit seinem Abbild gedruckt und dann für verschiedene seiner Singles verwendet) |

| Jahreszahlangabe: "US 58" = Originalpressung USA 1958. "US (58)" = spätere US-Pressung der erstmals 1958 erschienenen Single. hinterliess auch Spuren an seiner Stimme. Das zeigt sich z.B. beim Song "Bottom of a Mountain", der er aufnahm, nachdem er ein paar Monate zuvor am Flughafen von El Paso mit 1000 Speed-Tabletten im Gepäck festgenommen worden war und seine Ehe endgültig zerbrach. Die Stimme ist rauh geworden, aber die Fans lieben sie auch so. |
